ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Interview
All potential trainees will be interviewed. This interview will identify the interests and strengths of the candidate. This will allow trainers to enrol the trainees into the appropriate courses.
Employment
All trainees are required to be fully employed full time by MOC. All trainees will be paid while attending the training.
Courses
Trainees will have to follow MOC HR Pathway.
THEORY, PRACTICAL & ON THE JOB TRAINING
Theory Courses
1. MOC Core Values and Etiquette
Trainees will be informed on the core values of MOC and will be required to remember these by heart.
2. Grooming
Basic grooming skills will be taught to all trainees. Staff uniform standards will also be taught.
PRACTICAL COURSES
1. Equipment usage training
Trainees will be taught to use the common equipment used in their daily work. Trainees will also be imparted the knowledge to maintain the equipment in the best working condition. Basic servicing of the equipment will also be taught.
2. Perform basic cleaning of hard floor surfaces
• Preparing for cleaning activities;
• Removing loose dust and debris,
spillage and impacted soil from
hard floor surfaces;
• Performing mopping of hard floor
surfaces; and
• Reinstating work area.
3. Perform basic cleaning of washrooms
4. Glass Cleaning
5. Ironing
ON JOB TRAINING (OJT)
Trainees will have to follow the OJT Blueprints
Trainees will be placed in OJT after completion of the theory and practical courses.
